According to the Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA) An employer that does not carry workers’ compensation insurance is guilty of a Class 6 felony. A.R.S. § 23-932, and, if an employee is injured but you do not carry workers’ compensation insurance, your employee can file a civil suit against you.
