OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. It is responsible for worker safety and health protection. The US Department of Labor regulates and enforces more than 180 federal laws covering many workplace activities for over 10 million employers and 125 million workers.
80% of construction site workplace fatalities occur mainly in four circumstances, 34% occur from Fall Hazards such as from scaffolds or roofs, 10% Caught -In or Between Hazards, such as caught, crushed, or pinched between parts of an object, 24% Struck by Hazards, such as unsecured loads, flying objects, and, 11% Electrocution Hazards.
